CONFERENCE AT NAMIREMBE GUEST HOUSE:
This ministry is specifically targeting the professional
women in Uganda though it was birthed in Kenya according to the Director Mrs.
Lois Seruyange. This conference was well attended basing on the targeted
audience, we were able to have 60 professional women in attendance.
We are always frantic as we prepare these conferences as
staff but joy comes when testimonies are given about how different women were
impacted by the talks given by different speakers that who were selected.
Speakers dwelt more on the issue of balancing family and
work, women loving God, women bearing the burden of prayer. Among these; women
were encouraged to submit to their husbands and to take their families as their
first priority, to mentor their children and to bring them in fear of the Lord
in ways that they will not depart from even when they are old.
Women were charged to be prayer warriors for their families,
to deal with themselves first before they deal with other people knowing that
out of obedience to God flows all kinds of blessings and rich heart that will
in turn minister greatly to other women or work metes.
Please thank God with us as we evaluate the things God has
done in this conference and as we receive calls of appreciation in the women
department and some desiring to be part of the committee.
